Provenance: Found near the Columbia River on private land located between Priest Rapids and Vantage in Kittitas Co, WA by Norma Berg during the 1940-50’s. This collection reportedly contained several thousand artifacts stored in well over 100 frames. In the Fall of 2011 the Berg Family consigned the collection to Jim Bennett.

Material: Petrified wood replaced by Calico agate with olive, orange, green, gray, brown, and maroon color banding.
Size: 1-9/16" Long x 5/8" Wide.
Grade: G-5-6 quality. Has good bifacial pressure flaking and moderate stem grinding to form, has seen several stages of ancient resharpening which has reduced blade width by at least 40% and created an asymmetrical form. Has a rich waxy slightly river polished patinated and mineralized luster.
